A Mother Tackles the Lost and Found

A Mother Tackles the Lost and Found

Sometimes the simplest products make the greatest impact.

Every year, parents and teachers of children in schools, day cares, and camps complain about lost clothing. Julienne Correa, a parent of two small children, couldnt avoid staying away from the schools lost and found bin. Although I tried labeling everything with a permanent marker, it always seemed that I was at the mercy of what the color of the clothing was. If it was dark, the letters didnt show and all too often the clothes would be wrecked with smudge marks on the outside from the ink going through the material.

Finally Julienne decided to contact parents and schools to let them know about her Los Angeles-based company named Pronto Labels (www.ProntoLabels.com). Busy parents can purchase personalized iron-on labels that easily adhere to clothes. Made of durable woven polyester and indelible washable ink, these labels are washable, legible and quick to apply. I just got tired of always finding myself at the playground commiserating with other parents and teachers about this family/school problem. I wanted labels that applied quickly for the busy parent.

Parents of wandering children and caretakers of the elderly have an added benefit when using these labels. Also, having clothes well identified with a phone number can help law officers contact worried family members of the whereabouts of their loved ones.

Name labels are not new to the market. Thirty years ago sew-on labels appeared in the market, however, many parents and teachers still are unaware of easier methods to label clothing. Having this item included in childrens yearly supply list for schools, day cares and camps can help significantly reduce visits to the lost and found.

Pronto Labels provides a choice of styles and can be conveniently ordered online at www.ProntoLabels.com . Order forms can also be printed out from the website and sent in the mail.
