From sharks to salmon, from sardines to shortbelly rockfish, the fishes that occupy the water column of the Santa Barbara Channel form an important part of the ocean food chain. Join us and find out if you are emotionally prepared to handle these startling revelations.
Milton Love is a Research Biologist at the Marine Science Institute, University of California Santa Barbara. Dr. Love has conducted research on numerous economically important marine fishes in the northeast Pacific, including over 30 years of work on rockfishes. His most recent book is The Rockfishes of the Northeast Pacific.

We consist of parents and young children and include the entire family, friends, and extended family members in our activities. We provide ourselves with peer support, education, family activities, professional skill building, business support, and social opportunities. Inspired by the unique musical score of Saint-Saens, this rod and string puppet program depicts the composer as a little boy creating imaginary animals from familiar objects.
