The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum will host the 2nd annual African American Cultural Arts Festival presented by the Brotherhood of Santa Barbara. Admission is free for all visitors. The festival is a celebration of the African American culture and heritage, with a special focus on the local African American community. Festival activities include dance and music performances, activities, guest speakers and more!

Simi Valley Active Playgroup
You've heard the saying "Life is not a Spectator Sport!" Well, we add, "neither is parenting!"
Simi Valley Active Playgroup is for active, involved Moms and their children, ages 18 months- 5 years old. We have various indoor and outdoor activities weekly, designed to create a positive experience for both mother and child. Some of our activities include weekly walks, park playdates, indoor playdates and other various outings. We also plan a Mom's Night Out, Couples Night Out and all-Family Gatherings.
What is unique about our group is that each member is encouraged to plan activities that interest them! We also have a barter system, toy/book swaps, and more! SVAP is inclusive of all ethnicities and religions, and both working or at-home Moms. So if you're ready to be an active Mom, please apply!
